BART Fare Increases Adds to Students' Costs BART's board of Board of Directors held a public meeting last week to get the public's reaction to their proposed increases to cover a $30.4 million deificit. Proposed increases included instituting daily parking fees as well as increases in ticket fees. Students already have enough to pay for without having the cost of transportation added to it.
